The Messenger Co. has introduced the Natural Onyx Lighted Urn, a natural onyx memorial that combines photo personalization with adjustable illumination. Designed to serve as a meaningful centerpiece during a memorial service and a lasting tribute in the home, the urn offers families a distinctive new way to honor and remember a loved one.

“Families aren’t simply choosing an urn – they’re choosing how they want to remember someone,” said Alicia Norman, Director of Product at The Messenger Co. “We wanted to create something that feels deeply personal during the service and continues to hold meaning in the home for years to come.”

Created to Remember

Unlike conventional urns with limited opportunities for personalization, the Natural Onyx Lighted Urn combines a photograph with softly illuminated natural stone to create a memorial centered on the individual and the memories shared with them.

Designed with both the memorial service and the home in mind, key features include:

• Personalization with photo, name and dates, with illumination from behind the photograph
• Genuine natural onyx, featuring unique veining that makes every urn distinctive
• Battery operated illumination for flexible placement
• Remote-controlled lighting with dimming, color settings, timer and on/off controls
• Solid wood base for a refined presentation at the service or home

Together, these features give funeral professionals another way to help families move beyond simply selecting an urn and toward creating a memorial that feels distinctly their own.

“We believe the most meaningful memorial products are the ones that immediately make you think about the person – not the product,” said Amy Andrews, Business Development Supervisor at The Messenger Co. “That idea guided the development of the Natural Onyx Lighted Urn from the beginning.”
