Android differs from Apple devices, as Apple designs and manufactures both it’s hardware and software. Android, however is an Operating System engineered by Google that runs on phones made by many different hardware manufacturers. This presents an incredible challenge to programmers/developers who create mobile apps. The end result is that any given app developed for the Android platform will have certain device models that are unable to be supported.
