Setup Guide 3: Upload Photo Sets to the Dashboard

by User Not Found | Aug 03, 2017

Uploading is fast and simple. By default you will need to manually initiate the upload process when finished taking all your photo sets.

Alternatively, you can turn on the auto-upload feature. If the Auto-upload setting is on, photo sets will be automatically uploaded as they are finished. If you would like to have it auto-uploaded while on cellular data you will also have to turn on the Upload on Cellular data feature.

In the Services Queue screen, if next to your photo sets you see this icon, these are photo sets that have yet to be uploaded to the server.

Queue Screen

If there are photo sets that need uploading:

1. Tap the Upload button in the top right

2. The icon next to each photo set will display as they are being uploaded.

3. Once the photo set is uploaded the icon will change to.

Upload Successful

Once all photo sets are uploaded they will be on the dashboard for viewing and printing. See FloralXpress Setup List Step 4: View Flowers.

Auto-Upload

After you take a Flower set and click done, the set will immediately begin uploading to the server. Alternatively, the flower set will be added to the queue for manual upload of all flower sets together.

Upload on Cellular Data

If this option is turned on, you will give permission to uploading photo sets even while on Cellular data. Depending on your phone carrier, you may have limits to your data usage so you will want to check to make sure that you will not be charged overages. Uploaded photos size average about 100-200kb each.

Note: Both settings are off by default.

Photo Set Queue Screen

The queue screen has the list of all flower sets taken with that device for a specific service. If there haven't been photo sets taken on your device for the service, the queue will be empty. This queue can also be cleared after photo sets have been uploaded.
Each flower set can be in a different state of upload: Ready for upload, uploading, and uploaded.

If a photo set has not be uploaded yet, you can go back into the set and retake photos or edit text.
